During the meeting of the Kansas Chapter of the IAAI some wonderful events occurred.
Congratulations to all for a job well done
We are pleased to announce 2 additions to the Anderson Investigations team. Larry W. Stemmerman has been in the fire investigation business for over thirty years. Though he is no longer investigating fire he has become an Accelerant Detection Canine Handler.
Along with his 6-year-old lab Skylar, they offer yet another tool to aid us during our scene investigations. The use of Skylar greatly improves the ability of the investigator to collect a positive sample.
Skylar Is trained to detect accelerants. She is a play reward dog, which means when she alerts she is rewarded with a tossed ball. When she alerts she sits and points towards the location where she detects the odor that has caused her to alert.
We are happy to have them join us and look forward to many years of fruitful service with them on our team.
