Jason Ellis

Jason Ellis began his career in the fire service in 1994 while serving in the United States Navy. While in basic training he completed basic fire and damage control training. Throughout his career in the Navy Jason served on numerous fire and damage control teams on several ships. He was the Duty Fire Marshall while serving on the destroyer USS Stethem DDG 63.
After separating from the Navy in 2000 Jason attended the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) in Overland Park, KS. Upon graduation, Jason was hired by the Lenexa Fire Department, in Lenexa, Kansas. Jason is currently a Master Firefighter, Emergency Medical responder, training database administrator, and fire origin and cause investigator with the City of Lenexa.
Jason began his career in fire investigation in 2004, joining the staff of Consolidated Forensic Investigations, Inc., as an investigative assistant. In 2005 Jason joined the team of Anderson Investigation, LLC. Jason was made a Special Investigator for Anderson Investigations, LLC in June of 2008.
Investigator Ellis is a member of the Kansas Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the Kansas City Arson Task Force. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management and an Associate’s degree in Fire Services Administration. He is a certified Fire Investigator with a Private Detective license through the Kansas. Bureau of Investigation.
