Mike Searcy

Mike S. Searcy began his fire career as a volunteer firefighter with the Emporia Fire Department in July of 2001. He became a full-time, paid Firefighter/EMT with the Emporia Fire Department in July 2002. In May of 2004, Mike was hired at the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department as a full-time paid firefighter/ EMT.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management as well as an Associates Degree in Fire Science. Mike became a Certified Fire Investigator in 2010 and holds a Private Detectives License through the Kansas Bureau of Investigations. Mike also holds several Rescue Technician Certifications as a member of the Urban Search & Rescue team for the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department.

Mike serves as the Commander of the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department Honor Guard. He also holds memberships in the International Association of Firefighters and The Kansas Chapter on the International Association of Arson Investigators.

He began his career with Anderson Investigations, L.L.C. in October of 2006. Recently he attained the rank of Special Investigator. He is conducting origin and cause investigations with our firm throughout the Midwest.
