Robert began his fire department service as a firefighter with the South Platte Fire Protection District in 1990. In 1992 he became a firefighter with the Lenexa, Kansas Fire Department. Since March of 2002, Robert has served as a Fire Captain and Shift Fire Investigator with the Lenexa Fire Department.
In 1992 he became a part time Fire Investigator with Jacobs Investigations, Incorporated and Independent Insurance Investigations, Incorporated. These companies consolidated in 1996 where he served as a Special Investigator. In 2005 after CFI dissolved he became a Special Investigator with Anderson Investigations, LLC.
Robert has an Associates Degree in Applied Science with Penn Valley Community College. In 2000 he received a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Fire Service Management from Park University. Robert is a Certified Fire Investigator through the IAAI.
Robert’s professional affiliations include the Kansas Fire Service Training Commission, National Fire Academy Alumni Association, National Fire Protection Association and a Member of the Board of the Kansas City Arson Task Force. His association with the IAAI includes Chapters in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Africa. He is a Licensed Private Detective through the State of Kansas.
