Tim Millspaugh

Tim began his career in the Fire Service in 1979 with the Sedgwick County Fire Department.  Tim became a fire investigator in 2001 where he was a Division Chief and eventually the Fire Marshal for Sedgwick County responsible for a fire investigation team of four people. Tim has conducted or assisted in over 900 fire investigations during this time and has testified in District Court as an expert witness on multiple occasions.  During this time Tim has worked with the ATF, the KBI, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s office, and the United States Secret Service on fire investigation cases. Tim retired from the Sedgwick County Fire Department in 2011 after 32 years of public service.

Tim has an AA degree in Fire Science, is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist with the NFPA, is a Certified Fire Investigator through the IAAI, is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator trough NAFI, is a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator through NAFI, and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Technician and a Kansas State Certified Emergency Medical Technician as well as a Nationally Certified Fire Safety Officer. Tim has taught fire science courses for Butler County Community College, is a licensed private detective in the State of Kansas, and is a forensic document examiner. Tim began his career with Anderson Investigations, LLC early in 2011.
